Zeta Beta Tau
University of Maryland
SINCE 2014

RUSH
Zeta Beta Tau has returned to the University of Maryland, College Park! We are a great group of guys (currently at thirty members) that are looking for more students to join. We like to have a good time, but also take brotherhood, community service, and studying very seriously. Additionally, we are a nationally Jewish fraternity, but are definitely open to people from any backgrounds! If you are interested in an awesome and well-rounded experience in Greek Life, ZBT seems like the fit for you! These are the members of the rush committee that have encouraging words to tell you about ZBT:
Hi my name is Matt Weinreb and I am the director of recruitment for the Beta Zeta Epsilon Colony at The University of Maryland. I have been working with ZBT since this past September and have loved every second of it. Joining a new fraternity is a great leadership experience and an easy way to get involved in an organization quickly. My role has involved recruiting individual students and encouraging them to join the fraternity through messaging, phone calls, and events. I love ZBT and I highly encourage you to come check us out!
Hey, I’m Reid Danels, the rush chair in charge of event coordinating. I got involved with ZBT in the Fall of 2014. In the relatively short time I’ve been involved, I would say that the defining feature of our fraternity has been the tight brotherhood bond. I really do feel that any and every brother has my back, and that I have truly made friends that will last a lifetime. I’ve also made great alumni relationships with prominent figures, been a part of many philanthropic events, and had some really fun times along the way. Come check out ZBT, and feel free to contact myself or any other rush chairs with any questions.
Hey guys my name is Michael Kesting and I am a sophomore brother of Zeta Beta Tau. One of the reasons I decided to become involved with ZBT is that I am a legacy and I thought it would be meaningful to be my dad’s fraternity brother. As one of the members of our rush committee, my job is to make sure ZBT is more publicly known and that everyone is aware of our rush events and what we are doing as a fraternity. What I love about ZBT is how close all of the brothers have gotten so quickly and that these friendships will continue to grow stronger.
Hi my name is Skyler and I'm a sophomore business major. My role as a rush chair is to interact with potential new members. The reason why I thought joining ZBT was so appealing was being able to build something from the ground up and leave my mark on UMD forever, which is not something the average college student gets to experience.
Hi I’m Jeff Greenburg, I started getting involved in ZBT in Fall 2014 when I was recruited by Matt Weinreb. After meeting Matt and many of the other brothers who got involved in ZBT earlier on in the process I quickly fell in love with the fraternity. My role on the Recruitment team will be a contact person to reach out to and be contacted by rushes interested in joining our brotherhood. I love ZBT because of the great brothers that make up the fraternity, they are and have been some of the most amazing people I have met in my life and I am proud to be able to call them brothers for the rest of my life.
